Thank you so much Janice. It seems that each day is a new hurdle at times. But I believe my work here isn’t even close to being done, because things could be so much worse. I’m so thankful for Cindy and the girls, and absolutely love the closeness of this family I’m so very happy to be a small part of. Looking forward to another trip up that way, hopefully soon!

i think the new room looks great! as for the shower, we could just get a water hose and hook it up to the bathtub focet and spray ya down!! and no matter what i’ll make sure u get ur steak pudding and veiw of the emerald pond!

An Appeal for Support and Conformation of MRI Results

My daughter has lived with ALS-like symptoms for almost 3 years. The worst of the symptoms began when her simvastatin was increased to 80mg in 2008.
Her MRIs show LESIONS in the brain stem, specifically in the PONS area of her brain.
Of course, her 4 physicians refuse to believe that a statin is involved. They are all satisfied with the diagnosis of “Ataxia”.

My daughter needs to know that she is not alone in her suffering. She needs to know that she is not the only one crippled, and that there may be hope for her condition.

My Appeal is to all those who are/were on statins and have similar brain lesions as shown and documented in MRIs. Please reply here, or contact her father directly: Dr Stephen Arvay, stephenx11@cogeco.ca

Who says you’re NOT healed?? I’ve received lots of healing – spiritually speaking. I’ll claim physical healing too. So far, there are slight improvements. But you know what, Steve? I think God knows exactly what He’s doing and why… Keep right on living, loving, and laughing in the face of ALS. I’m with you!
